Replacing the Wiper Blades
Begin by removing the existing wiper blades. To do this, locate the small tab or button on the wiper arm near where the blade connects. Press or slide this tab and lift the wiper blade upwards to remove it.
Once the old wiper blades are removed, clean the wiper arms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Inspect the condition of the wiper blades. If they are cracked or deformed, they should be replaced with new ones.
Position the new wiper blade on the wiper arm and lower it into place. Ensure that the blade snaps or locks securely into place on the arm. Repeat this process for the other wiper blade. Test the wiper blades by turning on the windshield wipers. Make sure that both blades operate smoothly and wipe the windshield without skipping or leaving streaks.
*Do note that when you purchase replacement wiper blades, ensure that they are the correct size for your vehicle as different models may require different sized blades.*
