Removal Steps:
1. Remove the skid plate under the vehicle (if equipped).
2. Raise the truck and securely support it on jack stands so you can get under the truck for easier access.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug.
4. Use a 15mm wrench or socket to loosen and remove the oil drain plug, making sure to remove the rubber washer to keep from accidentally dropping it into the freshly emptied oil pan.
Oil Drain Plug Torque Specs: 23 lb-ft.
