1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
2. Locate the idle speed adjusting screw on the right side of the motorcycle, near the throttle body.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise to increase idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease idle speed.
4. Adjust the idle speed to the specified value in your motorcycle's owner's manual, which is typically around 1000-1200 rpm.
5. Once the desired idle speed is achieved, tighten the lock nut on the screw to secure the setting.
