Locate the seat lock. It is usually located at the rear of the seat, under the pillion seat.
Insert the key into the seat lock and turn it clockwise. This will unlock the seat.
Lift the seat up and off of the motorcycle. Be careful not to drop the seat.
To reinstall the seat, simply line it up with the mounting posts and press down until it locks into place.
