Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a Legacy Manufacturing Task Force 16-inch Reel Mower. This manual will provide you with the information you need to safely and effectively operate your new lawn mower.

Safety Instructions

Before operating your lawn mower, please read and understand all of the safety instructions in this manual. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.

- Never operate the lawn mower without the discharge chute in place. The discharge chute helps to direct grass clippings away from the operator and other people in the area.

- Keep children and pets away from the lawn mower at all times. Children should never be allowed to operate the lawn mower.

- Never put your hands or feet near the cutting blades. The cutting blades are sharp and can cause serious injury.

- Do not operate the lawn mower on wet grass or in rainy conditions. Wet grass can cause the lawn mower to skid or lose traction.

- Be aware of your surroundings when operating the lawn mower. Pay attention to obstacles such as rocks, trees, and fences.

- Never operate the lawn mower under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Assembly Instructions

1. Remove the lawn mower from the box and inspect it for damage.

2. If there is any damage, do not operate the lawn mower. Contact Legacy Manufacturing for assistance.

3. Attach the discharge chute to the lawn mower.

4. Install the grass catcher (if desired).

5. Add oil to the lawn mower (see the Maintenance Instructions section for details).

6. Check the tire pressure (see the Maintenance Instructions section for details).

Operating Instructions

1. Start the lawn mower by pulling the recoil starter rope.

2. Push the lawn mower forward to begin cutting grass.

3. Adjust the cutting height by raising or lowering the cutting deck.

4. When you are finished cutting grass, stop the lawn mower and turn off the engine.

Maintenance Instructions

To keep your lawn mower in good working condition, it is important to perform regular maintenance. The following tasks should be performed on a regular basis:

- Check the oil level and add oil as needed.

- Check the tire pressure and inflate the tires as needed.

- Sharpen the cutting blades as needed.
