* SAE 80W or 85W: for normal temperatures or cold conditions.
* SAE 90W or 10W-40: for higher temperatures or racing purposes.
Engine oil:
* A good-quality, synthetic or semi-synthetic 2-stroke oil with a JASO-MA or ISO-L-EGD/EGF rating.
Recommended oil brands:
* Motul 800 2T
* Amsoil Interceptor
* Maxima Castor 927
* Lucas Oil Synthetic 2-Stroke
In this example we used the kx85, but the oils recommended work for every dirt bike 2t engine. Follow owner's manual recommendations carefully and avoid putting too much or too little oil; follow the owner's manual instructions regarding the measurements.
