2. Remove the starter.
3. Remove the stator cover.
4. Remove the stator bolts and remove the stator.
5. Clean the stator mounting surface and apply a thin coat of sealant.
6. Position the new stator and install the stator bolts.
7. Replace the stator cover and the starter.
8. Reconnect the battery and start the engine.
