4. Install Crash Bar Brackets:
- Locate the mounting points on the frame for the crash bar brackets.
- Place the brackets into position and insert the provided bolts. Tighten the bolts securely but not too tight.
5. Attach Crash Bars:
- Position the crash bars against the brackets.
- Secure the crash bars to the brackets with the provided bolts and nuts. Make sure the crash bars are firmly attached and do not wobble.
6. Test Fitment:
- With the crash bars loosely in place, double-check the alignment and fitment. Make sure there are no gaps and that the crash bars do not interfere with other components.
7. Tighten Bolts:
- Once you're satisfied with the fitment, tighten all the bolts and nuts you've loosened so far. Make sure they are secure and properly torqued.
8. Reattach Side Fairings:
- Reattach the side fairings back into place.
- Connect any electrical connectors you disconnected earlier.
- Secure the fairings with the bolts you removed in the beginning.
9. Test the Crash Bars:
- Gently push the crash bars to check if they are securely mounted. Make sure they don't move or wobble.
- If everything looks and feels good, you're all set!
10. Final Checks:
- Take the motorcycle for a short test ride to ensure that the crash bars do not interfere with any of the controls or the steering.
