- A Mercedes-Benz STAR診断機
- A computer with the Mercedes-Benz DAS software installed
- A connection cable between the STAR診断機 and the computer
Once you have all of the necessary tools and software, follow these steps:
1. Connect the STAR診断機 to the vehicle's OBD port.
2. Start the DAS software on the computer.
3. Select the "Control Units" tab in the DAS software.
4. Double-click on the "Rear SAM" control unit.
5. Click on the "Coding" tab in the Rear SAM control unit.
6. Select the "Recode" option.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the recoding process.
Once the recoding process is complete, the Rear SAM control unit will be reprogrammed with the new coding. This may resolve any issues that you were experiencing with the Rear SAM control unit.
