Step 1: Park your car in a safe location.

Use the jack to lower the car until the spare tire is on the ground.
Step 9: Tighten the lug nuts.
Use the lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. Tighten the lug nuts until they are snug, but do not over-tighten them.
Step 10: Put away the tools and lower the spare tire.
Put away the lug wrench, jack, and chock. Lower the spare tire if it was raised.
Step 11: Drive slowly to a tire shop.
Drive slowly to a tire shop or auto repair shop to have the flat tire repaired or replaced.
