- Lift up on the rear part of the console until the retaining clips release, then pull the back and the upper part of the console out.
- Remove the two Torx head bolts retaining the cupholder housing.
- Pull out the cupholder housing from the front.
2. Pry out the old cup holder.
- Insert a plastic trim removal tool into the slots on the sides of the cup holder.
- Pry gently until the cup holder pops out.
3. Install the new cup holder.
- Press the new cup holder into place.
- Make sure that the tabs on the sides of the cup holder snap into place.
4. Reinstall the cupholder housing and the center console.
Here are some additional tips:
- Be careful not to damage the trim when prying out the old cup holder.
- Make sure that the new cup holder is properly snapped into place before reinstalling the center console.
