To reset your BMW's oil change miles, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the ignition. Do not start the engine.

2. Press the "BC" button under the instrument panel.

3. Use the "up" and "down" arrows to navigate to the "Service Interval Menu."

4. Press the "OK" button.

5. Use the "up" and "down" arrows to navigate to the "Oil Service" option.

6. Press the "OK" button.

7. Use the "up" and "down" arrows to select the new mileage interval (5000 miles / 8000 km)

8. Press the "OK" button to confirm the new mileage interval.

9. Turn off the ignition.
