How do you reset a service C light on Mercedes GL450?

1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine. If in the ON position, this can be done by pressing the START button without pressing the brake pedal. Press the START button twice without pressing the brake pedal. Leave it in accessories mode.

2. On the left side of your steering wheel, find the small round button with the downward-pointing triangle. Press and hold that button.

3. Your dashboard display should change from showing your mileage to a service menu. Release the button.

4. Press and hold the button again.

5. You should see the display “Service Reset?” followed by “YES” or “NO.”

6. Press the button to toggle between “YES” and “NO.” Once “YES” is illuminated, press the button to confirm.

7. You will see the message “Service Reset Complete” on the dashboard display.
