1. Prepare the tools you will need.
- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flathead screwdriver
- A T20 Torx screwdriver
- A T30 Torx screwdriver
- A panel removal tool
2. Open the door and remove the door sill trim.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the front of the door sill trim.
- Once the front is loose, pull the trim straight up and off.
3. Remove the screws holding the door panel in place.
- There are three Phillips head screws located in the following places:
- Behind the door handle
- Below the armrest
- In the door pocket
- Remove these screws.
4. Remove the Torx screws holding the door handle in place.
- There are two T20 Torx screws located on the inside of the door handle.
- Remove these screws.
5. Remove the door handle.
- Slide the door handle forward until it comes off.
6. Remove the window switch panel.
- Use the panel removal tool to pry up the bottom edge of the window switch panel.
- Once the bottom edge is loose, pull the panel straight up and off.
7. Remove the door panel.
- Pull the bottom edge of the door panel straight up until it comes off the clips holding it in place.
- Once the bottom edge is loose, pull the panel straight up and off.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the door panel.
9. Remove the door panel.
- Once all of the electrical connectors are disconnected, the door panel can be removed.
