- New pushrod (same length and dimensions as the old one)
- Engine oil (for lubricating the new pushrod)

Procedure:
1. Locate the Pushrod: Open the hood of your vehicle and remove any components or covers necessary to access the valve cover. Locate the valve cover, usually secured by bolts. Remove the bolts to take off the valve cover gently.
2. Identify the Faulty Pushrod: Inspect the pushrods. They are typically metal rods that connect the rocker arms to the lifters. Look for any that appear bent, damaged, or out of place.
3. Remove the Old Pushrod: Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry the rocker arm away from the pushrod you identified as faulty. Be careful not to pry too forcefully, as you don't want to damage the rocker arm or the valve train. Once the rocker arm is lifted, remove the pushrod.
4. Install the New Pushrod: Take a small amount of engine oil and apply a thin coat to the new pushrod. Carefully insert the pushrod into the rocker arm and the lifter. Gently press down on the rocker arm until it fully seats on the pushrod.
5. Repeat for Other Pushrods: If you noticed other damaged or bent pushrods, repeat steps 3 and 4 to replace them.
6. Reassemble: Replace the valve cover, taking care to seat it correctly and secure it with the bolts you removed earlier.
7. Check Clearance: Before reinstalling the valve cover completely, check the clearance between the rocker arm and valve stem using a feeler gauge. Ensure it is within the specified range according to your vehicle's specifications.
8. Reinstall Components: Reinstall any components removed to access the valve cover. Close the hood once everything is secure.
Note: It's essential to double-check the length and dimensions of the replacement pushrod to ensure it matches the specifications of the engine. Using an incorrect pushrod can cause engine damage.
