How do you change the tire on a Citroen Picasso?

Tools and materials needed:

- Car jack

- Lug wrench

- Chock

- Spare tire

- Jack stands (optional but highly recommended)

Step 1: Park the car and engage the parking brake

Park your Citroen Picasso on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

If you can, park the car in a shaded area to avoid overheating.

Step 2: Loosen the lug nuts

Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel you need to change.

Loosen the lug nuts just enough so that you can remove them by hand.

Do not remove the lug nuts completely at this point.

Step 3: Place the chock behind the tire (diagonally opposite)

Place chocks on both sides of the wheel you are changing to prevent the car from rolling.

Step 4: Jack up the car

Place the car jack under the car, near the flat tire.

Jack the car up until the flat tire is off the ground.

Step 5: Remove the lug nuts and take off the flat tire

Use the lug wrench to remove the lug nuts and take off the flat tire.

Pull the tire straight toward you to remove it from the hub.

Step 6: Place the spare tire on the hub

Place the spare tire on the hub and push it until it is fully seated.

Thread the lug nuts back onto the lug bolts and tighten them by hand.

Step 7: Lower the car

Use the car jack to lower the car until it is just touching the ground.

Do not lower the car all the way down at this point.

Step 8: Tighten the lug nuts

Use the lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.

Tighten the lug nuts as much as you can.

Step 9: Lower the car all the way down and remove the jack and tools

Use the car jack to lower the car all the way down.

Remove the car jack and your flat tire from the trunk and put them in your vehicle.

Step 10: Drive slowly to a tire shop

Drive slowly to a tire shop or auto repair shop to have the flat tire repaired or replaced.
