To check the oil level in your 2004 BMW 745li, follow these steps:

1. Open the hood.

3. Remove the oil fill cap.

4. Insert the oil dipstick into the oil fill hole.

5. Pull the dipstick out and check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the dipstick.

6. Add oil if necessary. If the oil level is low, add oil through the oil fill hole until the oil level is between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the dipstick.

7. Reinsert the oil fill cap.

8. Close the hood.
