How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1998 Honda Civic HX?

Tools

* Phillips-head screwdriver

* Flat-head screwdriver

* Replacement headlight bulb (H4)

Instructions:

1. Park your car in a well-lit area and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood of your car.

3. Locate the headlight assembly that needs to be replaced. The headlight assembly is located in front of the engine compartment, near the front of the car.

4. Remove the plastic cover from the back of the headlight assembly. The cover is held in place by two Phillips-head screws.

5. Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb.

6. Remove the old headlight bulb by turning it counterclockwise.

7. Insert the new headlight bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.

8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight bulb.

9. Replace the plastic cover on the back of the headlight assembly and secure it with the two screws.

10. Repeat steps 4-9 for the other headlight assembly, if necessary.

11. Close the hood of your car.

Tips:

* Be careful not to drop the headlight bulb. If you do, it may break.

* Make sure that the electrical connector is properly connected to the back of the headlight bulb. If it is not, the bulb will not work.

* If you have any questions about replacing your headlight bulb, consult your car's owner's manual or a qualified mechanic.
