* A new antenna base
* A Phillips head screwdriver
* A flat head screwdriver
* A pair of pliers
* Electrical tape
Instructions:
1. Remove the old antenna base.
- Open the trunk and locate the antenna base.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the antenna base in place.
- Disconnect the power wire from the antenna base.
- Slide the antenna base off of the roof of the car.
2. Prepare the new antenna base.
- Remove the backing from the adhesive tape on the bottom of the new antenna base.
3. Install the new antenna base.
- Slide the new antenna base into place on the roof of the car.
- Connect the power wire to the antenna base.
- Use the screws that you removed in Step 1 to secure the antenna base in place.
4. Test the antenna.
- Turn on the radio and check to see if the signal is improved.
5. Secure the antenna cable.
- Use the electrical tape to secure the antenna cable to the roof of the car.
Tips:
* When removing the old antenna base, be careful not to drop the screws.
* When installing the new antenna base, be sure to align it properly so that the power wire is facing the correct way.
* If you are having trouble removing the old antenna base, you may need to use a pair of pliers to help loosen the screws.
