1. Gather the necessary tools and parts. You will need a new CV joint, CV joint boot, grease, a pry bar, a hammer, a screwdriver, and a wrench.
2. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle on jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is secure before proceeding.
3. Remove the wheel from the side of the vehicle where the CV joint needs to be replaced.
4. Pry off the CV joint boot using a pry bar. Be careful not to damage the CV joint or the boot.
5. Remove the CV joint from the wheel hub using a hammer and screwdriver.
6. Inspect the CV joint for any damage. If the CV joint is damaged, replace it with a new one.
7. Apply grease to the CV joint and install it in the wheel hub.
8. Install a new CV joint boot and secure it with a zip tie or clamp.
9. Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle.
10. Test drive the vehicle to make sure the CV joint is working properly.
