Emission system service light reset Volvo S80?

Here is the procedure to reset the emission system service light in a Volvo S80

_NOTE: This procedure is only for model years 2007 and older. For newer models, please consult your owner's manual._

1. Turn the ignition key to position II.

2. Press and hold the trip reset button on the instrument panel for 3 seconds.

3. The message "Service lights reset" will be displayed on the instrument panel.

4. Turn the ignition key to position 0.

The emission system service light should now be reset. If the light is still illuminated after following this procedure, you should take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis.
