1. Remove the door panel:
* Use a pry tool or panel popper to remove the plastic rivets that hold the door panel in place.
* Start by removing the rivets along the bottom edge of the panel, then work your way up the sides.
* Be careful not to damage the door panel or the rivets.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors:
* Once the door panel is removed, you will see the electrical connectors for the power window switch, door lock switch, and side mirror.
* Disconnect these connectors by pressing down on the release tabs and pulling them apart.
3. Remove the old side mirror:
* Locate the three bolts that hold the side mirror in place.
* Use a wrench or socket to loosen and remove the bolts.
* Carefully remove the old side mirror from the door.
4. Install the new side mirror:
* Place the new side mirror against the door and align the mounting holes with the bolts.
* Insert the bolts and tighten them until they are snug.
* Reconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Reinstall the door panel:
* Start by aligning the top of the door panel with the door frame.
* Press down on the door panel until it snaps into place.
* Reinstall the plastic rivets that you removed in step 1.
6. Test the side mirror:
* Make sure that the side mirror is properly adjusted and that it is functioning properly.
* You may need to adjust the mirror from the inside of the vehicle.
