How do you reset the service indicator on 2000 Mercedes C230?

To reset the service indicator on a 2000 Mercedes C230:

1. Turn the ignition key to position 2.

2. Press and hold the trip reset button for about 10 seconds until the display reads "Service Reset."

3. Press and release the trip reset button.

4. Turn the ignition key to position 0.

5. The service indicator is now reset.
