1. A lug wrench
2. A jack
3. A chock (or something else to block the wheels that are not being removed)
Step 1: Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
Step 2: Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that you want to remove, using the lug wrench. Do not remove the lug nuts completely at this point.
Step 3: Place the chock behind the wheels that are not being removed, to prevent the car from rolling.
Step 4: Jack up the car until the wheel that you want to remove is off the ground.
Step 5: Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
Step 6: Lower the car back down and remove the jack and chock.
The wheel is now removed.
