1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the clutch cable. It is usually a black cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the clutch release lever.
4. Loosen the locknut on the clutch cable. This is the nut that is located at the end of the cable, near the clutch release lever.
5. Turn the adjusting nut on the clutch cable until there is a free play of 10-15 mm between the push rod and the release lever.
6. Hold the adjusting nut in place and tighten the locknut.
7. Test the clutch by pressing the clutch pedal. It should move freely with a little resistance.
8. Close the hood of your car.
If you are not comfortable performing this adjustment yourself, you can take your car to a qualified mechanic.
