Make sure the new battery is inserted properly.
Sit inside the car and close all doors.
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
Press the "Unlock" button on the key fob twice within five seconds.
Turn the key to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
Within five seconds, press and hold the "Unlock" and "Lock" buttons simultaneously for at least two seconds.
You will hear a confirmation tone, indicating that the remote key has been reset.
