1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
2. Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release it three times within five seconds.
3. Turn off the ignition switch.
4. Wait for about 10 seconds, then turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
5. Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release it three times within five seconds.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a minute at idle speed.
The check engine light should turn off.
