1. Locate the OBD-II port in your vehicle. It is usually located under the dashboard, near the steering wheel.
2. Connect an OBD-II scanner to the port.
3. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
4. Follow the instructions on the scanner to reset the check engine light.
5. Once the light has been reset, turn off the ignition and disconnect the scanner.
If you don't have an OBD-II scanner, you can also reset the check engine light by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes. However, this method may also reset other settings in your vehicle, so it is best to use an OBD-II scanner if you have one available.
