How do you fix Bobcat loader repair Lift arms will not function Have been told it is an actuator problem but the manual does explain how to remove or replace Bob cat Model 863H Any help on this?

Here are the steps to remove and replace the lift arm actuator on a Bobcat Model 863H loader:

Tools Needed:

- 3/8-inch drive ratchet and socket set

- 1/2-inch drive ratchet and socket set

- Flat head screwdriver

- Hammer

- Pry bar

- New lift arm actuator

Procedure:

1. Park the loader on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Shut off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Locate the lift arm actuator on the loader. It is located on the left side of the machine, near the lift arm pivot.

4. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the actuator. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts that hold the hoses in place, and then use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the hoses off of the nipples.

5. Remove the bolts that hold the actuator in place. There are two bolts on the top of the actuator and two bolts on the bottom.

6. Use a pry bar to pry the actuator off of the lift arm pivot. Be careful not to damage the lift arm pivot or the actuator.

7. Remove the old actuator and install the new actuator. Make sure that the new actuator is installed in the same position as the old actuator.

8. Reinstall the bolts that hold the actuator in place.

9. Reconnect the hydraulic hoses to the actuator.

10. Lower the lift arms and test the operation of the actuator.
