1. Insert the slim jim or coat hanger into the door frame, between the weather stripping and the glass.
2. Slide the slim jim or coat hanger down until you reach the lock mechanism.
3. Use the slim jim or coat hanger to press the lock button or move the locking mechanism.
4. Once the lock is released, you should be able to open the door.
