To repair the neck of the radiator where the upper hose attaches on a Saturn SL2, you will need the following tools and materials:

- A new radiator cap

- A radiator hose clamp

- A screwdriver

- A pair of pliers

- A funnel

- Coolant

Instructions:

1. Park your Saturn SL2 on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.

2. Locate the radiator cap, it is usually on the top of the radiator.

3. Remove the radiator cap by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to spill any coolant.

4. Locate the radiator hose clamp that connects the upper hose to the radiator.

5. Use the screwdriver to loosen the radiator hose clamp.

6. Slide the radiator hose clamp off the upper hose.

7. Pull the upper hose off the radiator.

8. Inspect the radiator neck for any damage. If the neck is cracked or broken, you will need to replace the entire radiator.

9. If the radiator neck is intact, simply clean it off with a rag.

10. Apply a thin bead of sealant to the radiator neck.

11. Slide the upper hose back onto the radiator neck.

12. Reinstall the radiator hose clamp and tighten it using the screwdriver.

13. Fill the radiator with coolant. Use the funnel to add coolant slowly so that you don't spill any.

14. Replace the radiator cap.

15. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the coolant. Check for any leaks.
