- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- 10mm socket and wrench
- Replacement turn signal bulb
1. Park your Cavalier in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the right front turn signal.
3. The turn signal is located in the front of the headlight assembly. It is the one located closest to the grill.
4. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry up on the plastic cover of the turn signal socket.
5. Once the cover is removed, you will see the turn signal bulb.
6. Use a 10mm socket and wrench to loosen the bulb socket.
7. Once the bulb socket is loosened, you can remove the old turn signal bulb.
8. Install the new turn signal bulb by inserting it into the socket and turning it clockwise until it is snug.
9. Tighten the bulb socket with the 10mm socket and wrench.
10. Replace the plastic cover of the turn signal socket.
11. Close the hood of the vehicle and start the engine.
12. Test the turn signal to make sure it is working properly.
