What tool to use remove manual transmission drain plug on 2001 Audi a4 3.0?

Tools Needed:

- 17mm Hex Key

- 3/8-inch ratchet

Instructions:

- Park your Audi A4 on a level surface.

- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.

- Crawl under the car and locate the transmission drain plug. It is located on the bottom of the transmission, near the rear of the car.

- Place the 17mm hex key on the drain plug and turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.

- Once the drain plug is loosened, place the 3/8-inch ratchet on the drain plug and turn it counterclockwise until it is completely removed.

- Allow the transmission fluid to drain into a suitable container.

- Once all of the transmission fluid has drained, reinstall the drain plug by turning it clockwise until it is snug.

*Note: It is important to use a new crush washer when reinstalling the drain plug to ensure a proper seal.*
