What do I reset my d16 ignition timing to?

The ignition timing on a Honda D16 engine should be set to a 16° +/-2° BTDC reading on a timing gun set to 0°. When adjusting the ignition timing, the engine must be at TDC on the compression stroke, and the distributor base should be loosened before using a #2 Phillips screwdriver to turn the rotor to get the correct reading on the timing gun to get your reading.
