1. Turn the ignition on but don't start the engine.
2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button for at least 5 seconds.
3. The "CHECK" light will come on.
4. Turn the ignition off.
5. Wait 10 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition on.
7. The "CHECK" light should be off.
8. Start the engine and drive the vehicle for at least 10-15 minutes.
This should reset the drive cycle on your 2000 Dodge Stratus.
Note: If the "CHECK" light does not come on when you press and hold the trip odometer reset button, there may be a problem with the OBDII system. You can have the OBDII system checked at a qualified repair shop.
