- An abnormal vibration or knocking noise coming from the engine bay
- Excessive engine movement when shifting gears or accelerating/decelerating
- Difficulty shifting gears
- A burning smell from the engine bay
- A misaligned or damaged engine mount
Visual inspection of the motor mount:
- Check for any visible signs of damage, such as cracks, tears, or loose bolts.
- Look for any oil or fluid leaks around the motor mount.
- Check the rubber isolator to make sure it is not broken or deteriorated.
- Check the metal bracket to make sure it is not bent or damaged.
