1. Remove the windshield wipers. To do this, simply lift up the wiper arms and pull them off of the windshield.

2. Remove the cowl. The cowl is the plastic piece that covers the base of the windshield. It is held in place by a few screws. Remove the screws and then lift the cowl up off of the windshield.

3. Clean the windshield frame and remove any sealant. Use a wire brush to clean the windshield frame and remove any old sealant. Be sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies.

4. Apply a new bead of sealant around the windshield frame. Use a caulking gun to apply a new bead of sealant around the windshield frame. Be sure to apply the sealant evenly and smooth it out with your finger.

5. Replace the cowl and wipers. Reinstall the cowl and wiper in reverse order. Make sure that the screws are tight and the cow is seated correctly.
