1. Gather the necessary tools: a T30 Torx screwdriver, a pry tool, and a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Open the vehicle door.
3. Use the T30 Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the window panel to the door frame.
4. Grip the bottom edge of the panel with the pry tool and start prying it away from the door.
5. Work your way around the panel, using the pry tool to gradually loosen it until it pops off the door frame.
6. Disconnect the child lock cable to the door frame as needed.
7. Once the panel is removed, locate the window knob secured by a metal clip located underneath it.
8. Use the flathead screwdriver to lift and remove the window knob.
9. Reinstall the new window knob and secure with the same metal clip used previously.
The process is complete once the door panel is securely reattached with its screws after the new window knob is installed.
