How do you remove a stuck brake caliper from 2008 dodge caliber?

Here are the steps on how to remove a stuck brake caliper from a 2008 Dodge Caliber:

1. Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that the stuck brake caliper is attached to, but do not remove them completely.

3. Jack up the car with the lug nuts loosened until the wheel is off the ground.

4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.

5. Locate the two bolts that hold the brake caliper in place. The bolts are located on the back of the caliper, and they are usually 17mm or 19mm.

6. Use a wrench to loosen the two bolts. You may need to use a breaker bar if the bolts are very tight.

7. Once the bolts are loose, you can remove the brake caliper from the rotor. Be careful not to damage the brake pads.

8. Inspect the brake caliper and the rotor for damage. If there is any damage, you will need to replace the caliper and/or rotor.

9. Clean the brake caliper and rotor with brake cleaner.

10. Apply a thin coat of brake grease to the caliper pins and the rotor.

11. Reinstall the brake caliper onto the rotor.

12. Replace the two bolts that hold the caliper in place. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.

13. Reinstall the wheel and lug nuts. Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern until they are snug.

14. Lower the car back to the ground.

15. Press the brake pedal several times to get full braking power.

Note: If you cannot do these above steps, it is always best to take the car to a qualified mechanic.
