Instructions
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Jack up your vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
3. Locate the motor mount that you need to replace. The motor mounts are located on the front and rear of the engine.
4. Use the socket set and ratchet to remove the bolts that hold the motor mount in place.
5. Use the pliers to remove the old motor mount from the vehicle.
6. Install the new motor mount by inserting it into the mounting bracket and hand-tightening the bolts.
7. Use the socket set and ratchet to tighten the motor mount bolts. Tighten the bolts to the torque specifications listed in your vehicle's owner's manual.
8. Lower your vehicle from the jack stands and start the engine. Check for any leaks or unusual noises.
Tips
* If you are replacing the rear motor mount, you may need to remove the exhaust pipe.
* It is a good idea to replace both motor mounts at the same time, even if only one is damaged.
* If you are not comfortable performing this repair yourself, you can have it done by a qualified mechanic.
