1. Park your vehicle on a flat surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your vehicle.
3. Locate the two plastic screws on the underside of the third brake light assembly. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector by pulling it apart gently.
5. Push the third brake light assembly out from the inside of the trunk to remove it completely.
6. Carefully pry off the old gasket around the brake light, using a flat-head screwdriver. Clean the area with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
7. Apply a bead of clear silicone sealant around the new gasket. Be careful not to let any sealant get into the holes where the screws will be inserted.
8. Press the new gasket into place over the opening for the third brake light.
9. Insert the two screws through the holes in the gasket and tighten them until they are snug.
10. Reconnect the electrical connector.
11. Close the trunk of your vehicle.
12. Test the new third brake light to ensure it is working properly.
