How do you change a Chevy S-10 rear window?

To replace the rear window on a Chevy S-10, follow these steps:

Tools and materials needed:

- Philips head screwdriver

- Flat head screwdriver

- Putty knife

- Glass cleaner

- New window glass

- Window adhesive

- Primer

1. Remove the interior trim panel from the rear window. There are usually four screws that hold the panel in place. Once you've removed the screws, you can pry the panel off with a flat-head screwdriver.

2. Remove the old window glass. Use a putty knife to carefully remove the old window glazing compound. Be careful not to damage the metal window frame.

3. Clean the window frame. Use glass cleaner to remove any dirt or debris from the window frame.

4. Apply primer to the window frame. This will help the new window adhesive to bond properly.

5. Apply window adhesive to the window frame. Use a caulking gun to apply the adhesive in a continuous bead around the entire perimeter of the window frame.

6. Install the new window glass. Carefully place the new window glass into the window frame. Make sure that the glass is evenly seated in the adhesive.

7. Apply more window adhesive around the edges of the glass. This will help to seal the window and prevent water from leaking in.

8. Reinstall the interior trim panel. Replace the screws that you removed earlier to secure the panel in place.

Allow the adhesive to dry completely before driving the truck.
