How do you remove the factory radio from a 1998 Chevy Lumina?

1. Remove the dash bezel. This is the plastic trim piece that surrounds the radio. There are two screws located at the top of the bezel, and two screws located at the bottom. Remove these screws and then carefully pry the bezel off of the dashboard.

2. Remove the four screws that secure the radio to the dash. There are two screws located on each side of the radio. Remove these screws and then carefully pull the radio out of the dash.

3. Disconnect the power and antenna wires. There is a power connector and an antenna connector located on the back of the radio. Disconnect these connectors by pressing down on the release tab and then pulling the connector straight off.

4. Remove the radio from the dash. Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the radio from the dash by carefully pulling it out.
