2. Pull the emergency trunk release lever to open the trunk.
3. Once the trunk is open, locate the access panel on the inside of the trunk lid. This panel is usually held in place by a few screws.
4. Remove the screws holding the access panel in place and remove the panel.
5. Once the access panel is removed, you will be able to reach the inside of the door latch mechanism.
6. Use a screwdriver or other tool to disengage the door latch mechanism and open the door.
7. Once the door is open, you can remove the door panel and fix the handle lock.
