Instructions:
1. Turn off your vehicle and disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the negative terminal of your battery to avoid any electrical accidents. This will prevent the radio from turning on while you're working.
2. Remove the dash bezel.
The dash bezel surrounds the radio and climate controls. Use a pry tool to gently pry it off. It is typically held in place by a few clips, and you might hear snapping or popping sounds as these clips detach.
3. Remove the four screws that hold the radio in place.
Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the four screws that are located in the corners of the radio.
4. Disconnect the radio harnesses.
There will be two harnesses connected to the back of the radio. One is the power harness and the other is the speaker harness. Disconnect both of these harnesses.
5. Pull the radio out from the dashboard.
Once the screws and harnesses are disconnected, you should be able to pull the radio out from the dashboard.
6. Install your new radio.
Place the new radio in the dash opening and carefully align the screws. Secure the new radio using the original screws you removed in step 3. Plug the radio harness and power harness back into their slots and reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
7. Test the new radio.
Turn on the ignition and test the new radio. Ensure that the radio powers up and that all the speakers are working and have sound.
8. Replace the dash bezel.
Reattach the dash bezel by snapping it back into place.
