1. Turn off the ignition and put the vehicle in park.
2. Open the driver’s door.
3. Locate the chime module under the dashboard on the driver’s side footwell area. It’s usually tucked up behind a plastic trim piece just above the floor, to the left of the steering column.
4. Remove the trim piece by carefully prying it off with a flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool.
5. Locate the electrical connector attached to the chime module.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing down on the release tab and pulling the connector straight up and out.
7. Reattach the trim piece.
8. Test the door chime to ensure it is disconnected.
