You will need a flat-head screwdriver, small adjustable wrench, and 8mm socket wrench.
Step 2: Remove the side mirror cover.
Locate the small rubber tabs on the side mirror cover. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry them up and remove them. Once the tabs are removed, the cover should come off easily.
Step 3: Locate the mirror retaining nut.
Once the cover is removed, you will see the mirror retaining nut. It is a round, black plastic nut located at the base of the mirror.
Step 4: Tighten the mirror retaining nut.
Use a small adjustable wrench or 8mm socket wrench to tighten the mirror retaining nut. Tighten the nut until the mirror is snugly in place.
Step 5: Replace the side mirror cover.
Once the nut is tightened, replace the side mirror cover. Press down on the cover until it snaps into place.
Step 6: Test the mirror.
Once the cover is replaced, test the mirror by gently moving it. The mirror should now be tight and should not move easily.
