1. Insert the new key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
2. Leave the key in the "On" position for 10 minutes.
3. Turn the key to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
4. Close the door.
5. Wait 10 minutes before trying to start the car.
The anti-theft device should now be reset and your car should start normally.
