How do you replace the drivers side door handle on a 1996 dodge avenger?

Tools and Materials Needed:

1. Replacement Door Handle

2. Ratchet

3. Socket Set

4. Phillips head screwdriver

5. Flathead screwdriver

6. Pliers

Instructions:

1. Open the door and remove the two Phillips-head screws that secure the door panel to the door frame.

2. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the trim cover around the door handle.

3. Remove the Phillips-head screw that secures the door handle to the door panel.

4. Use the pliers to remove the clip that connects the door handle to the door latch.

5. Pull the door handle out of the door panel.

6. To install the new door handle, insert the clip into the door latch and replace the Phillips-head screw that secures the door handle to the door panel.

7. Replace the trim cover around the door handle and replace the two Phillips-head screws that secure the door panel to the door frame.

8. Test the door handle to ensure that it is functioning properly.
