1. Lift the wiper arm until it is perpendicular to the windshield.
2. Locate the two bolts that hold the wiper arm to the linkage or directly to the motor if the Cherokee is equipped with the optional intermittent wipers.
3. Remove the bolts.
4. Lift the wiper arm off the linkage or motor arm.
5. To install the new wiper arm, reverse the steps above. NOTE: If your Jeep has the optional intermittent wiper system you may need to adjust it with a special tool or have it adjusted by a professional.
